Apple Picking
Fall always reminds me of fresh crisp air, cool evenings, and apples! We talk a great deal about where our food comes from so after school we popped by the local apple farm to pick up some goodies and poke around. I love teaching Waylon about good and healthy choices for our body, and by supporting local farmers, we help our community thrive. Today was no exception as we talked with Doug Dittmar who operates this sweet apple stand. While they were pretty picked over, we were able to walk around the orchard, see the varieties of trees, check out their flower garden and try to find Prowler the kitty!
