I am now officially in my mid-40s. Yikes! This was a tougher pill to swallow than turning any other number to date. That said, I have had quite a ride and am so grateful for all of my experience, which most people could only dream of.

Book Club!

I have been waiting patiently for this to be published in the US and it’s finally here. The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart was one of my favorite books of all time and I’m so excited to see what Holly Fingland brings to the page with this emotional tale. Happy Reading ✨

The Goods Book Club

I love a good story and getting swept away in a book. Whether I am reading or listenings, I usually have a few books in rotation at all times.

The Rusalka’s Book Club began in 2019 with our first book The Huntress - hence the name The Rusalkas after a group of women in the book - After three years and a pandemic, I recently relaunched as The Goods Book Club, to accompany all the other Goods in my life.

Each month a new book will be posted on Instagram, and I’ll keep adding the ones I read in between. Follow along and enjoy!

Date Bark

I don’t have a big sweet tooth. If you handed me a bag of chips I would mow the whole thing down. That said, from time to time a little sweet treat sounds pretty good and the rest of my family would agree.

I have seen Date Bark pop up on Instagram a few times and since I had a bucket of dates, I decided to give it a go. I went onto Pinterest and found a few recipes, but decided to just wing it.

Here is a very loose recipe - if you can even call it that.

Resolutions

2024 is going to be about living more authentically and living my best life yet. Choosing only what makes me happy and feels right for me or my family…not feeling guilty or bad about saying no to things that don’t align. As a people-pleasing YES person, this doesn’t come naturally or easily for me in my work life or personal life but I am committed to living my most authentic self.
