Clean Cleaning

The older I get, the more clean I want my home environment to be. I have always been conscious of what goes into my body, and into our home, but when it comes to cleaning products I needed to make a change. After talking with a girlfriend, she suggested gleaning with white vinegar.

To test it out, I cleaned my bathroom with just vinegar, water, and a little elbow grease. Low and behold, it looked amazing and got all the oil from my body scrubs and bath oils off so easily! Admittedly, the smell isn’t always ideal but it goes away pretty quickly.

Once my test was proven a success, I ordered glass spray bottles and made two batches of surface spray to wipe down the kitchen and bathrooms. They look pretty enough to have by the kitchen sink for easy clean up, or in the bathroom to keep things fresh…with a 4 year old boy in the house…having a simple spray by the toilet is key!

Just add 50% distilled or purified water with 50% white vinegar. I added a ton of lavendar and grapefruit essential oil to help cut the smell of vinegar. Shake the bottles are you are good to go!

Happy Cleaning!
